It has no doubt been very noticeable the increased law enforcement presence at the Oakland Coliseum this year and the constant "harassment" the fans of the Raiders face every Sunday at a home game. Also, what hasn't gone unnoticed is the increased presence of fans…walking around the Coliseum parking lot in opposing team jerseys. This would not be an issue if it weren’t for the fact that it is the Coliseum and a Raider game. A Raider "home" game is known to be "unfriendly" to opposing fans that wear their teams’ jerseys and in recent years there have been more of them showing up wearing Bronco, Chargers, and Chiefs gear, and loudly challenging and instigating Raider fans. This year not only has it been our division rival fans but more and more many Raider fans notice that there are jerseys appearing of teams that we aren't even playing or have no direct rivalry with. In recent weeks there have been: Panther, Steelers, Redskin, Dolphins, etc. fans walking around and seemingly looking to get into "verbal" confrontations. Those of you that have been to the Coliseum over the last 5 years at least know that opposing fans have gotten progressively more comfortable talking aggressively at Raider fans-- when that used to be a "rare" occurrence. With the "fan-friendly environment" signs posted everywhere and the new # posted right outside of the main gate "D" on a gigantic/wall size banner, encouraging fans to "snitch" on Raider fans if you feel "harassed" or are a victim of bad "conduct" using their nifty text-a-cop system.
This is suspicious based on the fact that “visiting” fans have incited MOST confrontations at the Coliseum for years. But because the IMAGE (stereotype) of Raider fans is we beat up fans for no reason other than they’re wearing an opposing teams colors and because Raider CEO A. Trask is so desperate to clean the "image" up that is perceived to be so bad by Raider fans, the Coliseum has basically become a "bait & catch" operation to weed out "bad" fans. No consideration is being made to crackdown on the behavior of "visiting" fans but every effort is being made to "harass" the paying Raider fan customer. (read more)

Raiderfanradio. com, the popular I-Radio Sports Entertainment Talk Show, is returning to the air after securing a deal with VJTV of Oakland, California.
VJTV CEO James Rockefeller & RFR.Com's repersentatives came to terms with a 1-year deal to broadcast " Raiderfanradio TV" through VJTV.
The show will continue to air on Tuesday nights, weekly.
RFR.Com also announced a new line-up. Joining Raider Rob And The Beautiful Black Hole Stef along with returning cast member, Matt With 2T'S, will be The Original Shieldhead. Also Oaktown Raider Bob joins the Raiderfanradio. com crew as a featured writer. He'll be contributing with articles, and opinion pieces (Not website & inner-fan drama through the computer). A guy generating that much controversy needs a bigger stage!
Black Hole Jake joins RFR.Com as our cybertech & Raider Scott comes aboard as a videographer and production director. A new writer to join Black Hole Stef: Alissa Gross is currently working on a story about investigations into Raider fan organizations & what influences they're having on game day violence plus the new parking lot crackdown for this year.
RFR.Com's premiere date will be announced on Monday August 31st.

Our hearts go our to Raiders LB Marquis Cooper, Will Bleakley and Corey Smith still lost at sea. The three have been missing at sea since Saturday, when Cooper's 21-foot boat capsized off Florida's west coast. The US coast Guard officially called off the search for the missing men Tuesday. Rescue workers found Cooper’s boat and the only survivor (so far) Nick Schuyler, 35 miles west of Clearwater, Florida.
"There's a lot of things we've got to come to grips with, got to work on. We all agreed unanimously that we are not giving up hope," Bruce Cooper, Marquis’s father said in a statement today.
Reports from one Floridian Don said, “I also fish offshore in my 22' boat but only in the bay's, they were simply too far out for the size boat they were in. God bless them.”
